I’m super happy to have a photo from Steph & Jo’s wedding featured in Urbania Magazine.
(You might remember their summer camp wedding from two summers ago)

Oh and the people over at Urbania sure do know how to throw a fabulous launch party — the Grumman taco truck was a huge hit (I had two… no self control).
If you haven’t tried one of their tacos yet, you need to stop everything and make. that. happen. now.
Your stomach will thank me.

Happy weekend!!!

happy new years

Wishing you all a happy new years!
May the coming year bring even more joy than the last.

every day is a gift

rosy cheeks. seeing your breath in the air.
christmas lights. mulled wine.
footprints in the snow. the dark silhouettes of trees.

so… I’m a little (a lot) obsessed with Christmas.

No — it’s really more like obsessed with the whole holiday season and the whole winter. I still find myself in awe of how Montreal completely changes appearances, shedding its summer skin for a blanket of quiet white. I also enjoy that this is my chance for a little down time. By now the wedding season has calmed down quite a bit and I take the opportunity to relax, bake and get crafty.

last week I created an advent calender for our little family, but instead of chocolates it’s wintery/holiday activities hidden in the little boxes. it’s like every day of December is a gift! I have a feeling this will be a whole new level of awesomeness when we have kids to share it with.
