Here’s a little snippet from Niamh and Eric’s montreal engagement session, it was all romance. These two love birds are getting married this weekend, and I couldn’t be more excited to photograph it!

Maybe it’s all the wedding blogs I follow or a natural extension of my art work, but I have a serious obsession with detail shots! I love to take them at weddings, engagement shoots, or even in the middle of making dinner. The more I’ve thought about this, the more I’ve wondered what they mean to me. And I think it comes down to what I’ve always said: I don’t take photos, I make photos. When a client asks me to photograph their wedding I don’t just see it as the documenting of an event; I’m telling a story — your story. These details are the details of you, your relationship and your personality. The unique descriptions of your joy and celebration on that day.
